Job Overview

 

The Admissions Officer leads and executes our lead management and conversion activities in the South Asia region targeted at students seeking to gain an international degree. Based in Delhi, the Admissions Officer works as part of a highly motivated professional team and is responsible for the B2B and B2C dealings, lead management, conversion of new students, and expanding the Channel Partner network in the region.

 

This position works closely with B2B partners providing assistance to onboard the students, ensuring the optimal services that lead to student conversion. You must have the ability to drive direct applications, conversion from offer to deposit, and conversion from deposit to enrollment. A large proportion of this sales and service role is speaking with education agents, applicants, and parents via online chat platforms, email, and telephone daily.

 

 

Essential Functions 

 

1) Student Lead Management:

 

To contribute to the growth of the business and boost new student enrollments, you should assess potential applicants and ascertain their eligibility for various academic programs.

 

Collaborate regularly with the India Digital Marketing team, ensuring real-time feedback loops to manage digital campaigns, messaging, lead generation, and conversion activities.

 

Employ a consultative sales approach to guide and support prospective students through the enrollment process.

 

Connect with potential students through various channels, including phone, email, social media, and, when possible, in-person meetings. Your goal should be to establish a strong rapport with students and assist them in selecting degree or certificate programs that align with their career goals and aspirations.

 

Prioritize delivering a positive and exceptional student experience and actively seek opportunities to drive student growth through referrals. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our current programs, products, processes, and policies. Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of the admissions process.

 

 

2) Conversion Activities:

Drive new student enrollments from the pipeline of student leads through conversion efforts.

 

Execute tailored conversion activities to drive conversion from sales–qualified lead to application, application to confirmation, and confirmation to enrollment via multiple platforms to reach enrollment goals.

 

Leverage available tools and develop new tools that move students through the conversion process, including scholarships, student ambassador connections, webinars, testimonials, and campus visits

 

Create consistent and observable documentation in MS Excel and throughout the student cycle of student engagement, activities, and processes.

 

Maintain and keep updated an ongoing student pipeline status dashboard to provide ongoing updates and reports to the team on the progress of student recruitment and visa success. 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Prior education sales/enrollment experience preferred

Ability to sell high–value consumer services or products

Excellent verbal and written English, and interpersonal communication skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Must possess a confident telephone presence

Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively by meeting quality standards

Must possess effective time management skills, sense of urgency, and ability to plan and prioritize daily activities

Excellent consultative skills and demonstrated ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment

Must possess the ability to receive constructive feedback and demonstrate accountability

Must possess critical–thinking ability, problem–solving skills, and good judgment
